A Special Thank You to our founder Peter Carter

Peter & Ulick
Peter Carter initially started meeting with a few photographers, who shared his passion and interest in monochrome photography eight years ago. This then grew and flourished into the popular specialist interest meetings known today as Somerset Monochrome Group.
On Sat 7th December many photographers congregated at The Monks Yard for what was the last group get together with Peter at the helm. Tony Worobiec gave a very enjoyable presentation, Ulick Palmer preceded this by giving Peter a special book of unique personal images created by many in the group.
Towards the end of the meeting Peter expressed his thanks and introduced Chris Mowthorpe, who jointly with Martin Barber are taking on the leadership and 2025 programme for the group.
